Les Petits Dorés

The nostalgia of my childhood basked in stories of Marcel Pagnol with chant of cicadas, the stone village house with the fragrance of lavander and the life in Bretagne.

The coastal streets and fresh products from market. Unconditional from sailors and picnic baskets, I wanted to create a collection which revisit the timeless wardrobe of our children.

Preserve their adventurous soul from sun exposure by anti uv protection.

The health of our children:

Only use anti-uv fabric to protect effectively from UVA and UVB. The suncream is not entirely a ‘’sun block’’, however just like a cotton top which avoids only 4% of UV.

Exposure to UV light for children is a major risk in skin diseases and melanoma when they become adult. In France, it is registered that more than 10000 people suffer from melanoma every year.

Protect our little one from harmful and irreversible effects of sun.

The brand:

Les petits dorés revisits the timeless dressing room for children by selecting Anti-uv UPF50+ fabrics in Europe, certificated by Oeko-tex 100 which guarantees a maximum protection.

Responsible for environment and concerned with future of our world, we use sustainable and recycled materials without any harmful product added.

We collaborate with prestigious ateliers with high transparency, sharing a common value with total ethics.

The creator:

A childhood in the south with foot in water, studied under the Australian sunshine and a family in Brittany. My husband who could have spent his whole life on his boat passes his passion for the ocean little by little every day.

The birth of my son Leonard was the trigger of this beautiful adventure. I’ve never found the anti uv swimwear which suits my expectations: The apparent logos, too sportive cuttings and obvious colors, also usually doubtful fabrics.

A melanoma due to sun exposure, a professional change and a strong willing to create. Imagine a timeless collection with Bohemian vibes, which protects the sensitive and innocent skin of our babies. Les petits dores, to remember their first footprint on the sand, the sparkle on their cheek and little copper legs.
